    • Thank you very much for making this available for Android! I just downloaded it and it looks like a great app. However, I was sorry to see that Hindi and Urdu are not available, as those are the two languages I am trying to learn right now. I see the note, though, that not all languages are available due to reasons beyond your control. Hopefully that may change in the future. :-)

      • Hi Sarah! We’re glad you like the looks of the app so far! And yes, unfortunately the Android platform does not support languages whose writing goes from right to left. We’ll let you know if anything changes in the future!

    • I love to see new things like this that make learning a language easier for people on the go. I’m a little sad that the app isn’t compatible with my Android tablet, but I can still access it via the Internet from my library’s homepage!

    • I like Mango Languages for Library. I’m learning Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese. I tried to use the App with my Android phone. I think I won’t be able to use it because Adobe Flash Player is not compatible with my phone. I still have my PC and continue my learning plan.

      • Hi Javier! That’s great to hear you’re studying Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese! With the Android app, you should be able to study even without Flash. Did you give it a try?

    • Hi, I live in Switzerland and hence I do not have access to your library edition. But I am waiting for the iPhone App to be available for your direct paying customers (Journey 1 to 3). When do you plan to make the app the available for individual customers? And why is it taking a long time to make it available for non-library customers?

      • Hi Siraj! We’re thrilled to hear you’re interested in learning on the go with our mobile apps! Our apps for customers are currently in development but don’t yet have a public release date. We’ll keep you updated here.

    • Hi! Yesterday July 7th ’13 I signed on to Mango free languages program by going to ‘ virl.bc.ca/elibrary/eresearch ‘ and signed in
with password. Everything worked fine. But today I cannot find Mango anywhere when I open my account with my library in Parksville
B.C.? How do I locate Mango now?

    • I’ve been using the Mango App on my iPhone from loggin in with my library account, where do I login with my library acount on a regular PC? Thank you :)

      • That’s a great question AJ. All you have to do is go to your public library’s website and log in to use their resources or databases using your library card. Once you find Mango, you should be able to use the same username and password you use for the mobile app to begin using the program.

If you have trouble finding it, please don’t hesitate to give our customer service a call.

      • Hi Jolene – our app does indeed work on the Fire :) If you’re running into issues getting it to download and launch, please contact our Customer Service team and they would be happy to assist you. You can reach us at 1.877.MANGO-11 or support@mangolanguages.com.

        • Hi Jolene – Just wanted to share an update I received today from our Tech Staff: although our app does work on the Kindle Fire, it won’t actually be added to the Kindle Fire store until next month. I’m sorry for the confusion!

    • Hi, I really love my Mango languages app! I was just wondering if there was any way for languages with a title in a different language to be available in English too, so I know what I’m clicking on. One looks kind of like Hebrew (which I have to learn for a class) but I don’t think it is but I’m not quite sure. So I was just wondering if that could be available. Thanks!

      • Hi S.J. – The courses that you’re referring to (which have the course name written in a language other than English) are actually English courses for speakers of that language. Since you’re wanting to learn Hebrew, you’ll want to select our regular Hebrew course, which is on the “Foreign Courses for English Speakers” tab. We also offer a Biblical Hebrew course if you are interested. I hope this helps – but if you have any more questions, feel free to contact our Customer Service team at support@mangolanguages.com or 1.877.MANGO-11.

      • Hi Duane,

Thanks for your question. We don’t currently have a Kindle app in development but I will pass along your request to our product development team.

        Have a great day,

        Rachel

        • One of us must be mistaken.
In the post above, your company says that the Kindle Fire app was supposed to be available in August. It is now September.

          • Hi Duane,

You are correct. Sorry for the confusion on our end. The Mango Kindle Fire app should be available within the next month or so. Our Tech Team is currently in the final stages of testing. We’ll make an announcement on our blog and social media pages when it is ready, so you can look there for an alert! Happy learning!

            – Tiffany
